‘Sustainability’ can be defined through the 3 pillars approach: economy, environment, and society - all three have to be considered for sustainability to be achieved. When embedding sustainability into business activities we must consider not only the natural environment but also the human and social capitals. This includes considering the communities we work in and the people who work for us.
At Freefoam, the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about our people is health and safety. Our utmost priority is creating a safe working environment for our workforce and anyone who visits our premise.
We have a robust and ISO accredited health and safety management system to ensure this happens day in day out.
Looking after our people also means investing in people through training and development opportunities.
Freefoam have a policy of encouraging its employees to undertake training in order to further their career and/or development within the organisation along with maintaining existing qualifications where appropriate. Freefoam provide training opportunities such as product knowledge, Excel, First Aid, Forklift truck instruction, manual handling, and leadership development training. This investment into people ensures a high performing, skilled and empowered workforce.
